Probably some of the most popular golf clubs on the course today are Cobra golf clubs. Eventhough they might not be as well known as Ping or Callaway, these are a fine set of clubs and if you don't know them then you probably should. This Cleveland Driver is definitely different looking. But these days if you're not different then you're not it. So if a unique club that'll help your game is what you're after than you've definitely found it in the Cleveland HiBore Driver series. This club looks totally elongated now as if someone stepped on it. Personally I think it makes the club look very sleek in this design.

But with this shape they've actually accomplished two things, first the CG(center of gravity) has been lowered and the MOI(moment of inertia) has increased. Not unusual, since this is two very common themes these days with drivers.

What the CG does actually being moved further back and lower than most clubs of similar size, if you like to tee the ball low, then you'll like this club. The odd shape actually stabilizes the club contributing to increasing the MOI. Don't worry if you don't understand MOI. It's nothing more than the ability of a club to send a golf ball flying down a straight path when hit off-center. The higher the MOI, the better off you are if you typically don't hit the ball flush every single time.

The CLEVELAND HiBore XL is probably the best driver Cleveland has ever made. One of the big gripes that people had with Cleveland drivers if you ever hit them in the past is that ball trajectory was way to high. With this club, the ball actually launches lower than their other drivers. With the right trajectory for average players they are finding a lot more length in their drives that are landing in the fairways.
