Callaway commenced to create breakthroughs in enhancing ball speed. Hoping to set new standards in titanium driver marketplace, they did just that with the Callaway Hyper X Driver series. With their invention of Hyberbolic Face technology, they've opened up the entire club face to be the sweet spot when driving golf balls down the fairways.
What is Hyperbolic Face Technology?
Well, for starters, this isn't something that just happened overnight. Not some new fancy term just to sell another piece of golf equipment. It's actually technology that was three years in the making and redefines the velocity at which golf balls leave the club face.
They've strategically shaped the thickness of the face of the club leading to better impact efficiecy. What this has done is largely improve the actual striking region of the clubface. See typical drivers have a space a little larger than the golf ball that would be considered the "sweet" spot in the club. Not with the Callaway Hyper X driver, they've effectively made almost the entire face of the club the "sweet" spot with this Hyperbolic technology and greatly increasing drive distance in the process.
