Santa Catalina Island is an incredibly rugged and stunningly beautiful island located just off the Southern California mainland. There are many different guided tours available as well which are great for those who want to learn about the islands rich history. A visit to the Catalina Casino, inland tour to see the buffalo, kayak your or scuba diving tour can make the trip a memorable one.

Accommodations are available for all budgets, as well as international cuisine, spa resorts, and yearly jazz and dance festivals. Whether you plan to stay a day or a few days, there are plenty of activities, places to eat, boutiques, and endless walks along the beach to keep visitors occupied. Santa Catalina Island is truly another world away from the rest of California, and a perfect, accessible getaway that is easy to plan and will satisfy your vacation wanderlust.
